Intrusive Starred Thoughts
April 4th, 2025
As I overlooked the night sky
Suddenly realized that the lights that flickered,
Amongst the streets, houses and cities
Resembled the night sky’s stars.
Each city comprised of lights,
Created constellations,
Unlike the sky they shifted,
Moved without patience, a tad bit inconsiderate.
I love the window seat.
I can stare outside
And look at man’s intelligence.
I am grateful.
Sometime looking from above makes me feel so powerful.
Small ants that I can crush under my airborne feet.
Death awaits those below.
And suddenly the night sky became cold.
When my thoughts became darker than the illuminating sky below
and above me.
No space for stars or streets lights,
Inside is just an intrusive abyss
Full of terrible thoughts,
Being so high, to play god in the air.
Now I can destroy those below me without cause or fear.
